The Torrey Pines EchoTherm HS30-2 230V digital stirring hot plate has an 8 x 8 inch white ceramic top plate, a temperature range of 25 to 450 degrees C, and an accuracy of + or - 1%. The white ceramic top plate provides fast heating and resistance to chemicals and scratches. A platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD), feedback, and an LCD readout provide control to 1 degree C, and either the temperature of the plate surface or the solution can be controlled. The hot plate has stirring speed range of 100 to 1,500 rpm with a settability of 10 rpm, and a maximum aqueous load of 4L. This stirring hot plate allows for timed operations of up to 100 hours. Temperature ramping provides controlled heating and cooling rates. It has an epoxy-coated cast aluminum base for durability, and a drip edge diverts spills to help protect the internal components. It comes with a detachable line cord.
